Solutions & Decisions is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a multinational client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector in Barcelona.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Demand Planner or in other Supply Chain areas, with a strong background in the cosmetic industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating launches and promotional items global forecasting, leading the regular goods sales forecast, and detecting main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget.

They will also provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process and lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning.

The role requires a high analytical profile, team management, and communication skills, as well as experience with SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process for a new cosmetic brand.
  2. Coordinate launches and promotional items global forecasting.
  3. Lead the regular goods sales forecast.
  4. Detect main deviations in the sales forecast vs the budget.
  5. Provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  6. Lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Demand Planner or in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar, with a Master in Supply Chain being a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High analytical profile, team management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools.
