About the Role

Solutions & Decisions is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a multinational client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector in Barcelona.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process for a new cosmetic brand, coordinating launches and promotional items global forecasting.
  • Develop and implement a regular goods sales forecast, detecting main deviations in sales forecast vs budget and highlighting risk and opportunities.
  • Provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process, leading the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning.
  • Generate the forecast for the Rest of the World, challenging the global forecast by detecting big deviations vs last month or vs budget, working closely with the Local Demand Planning community.
  • Ensure communication and feedback with the Local Demand Planning Community, ensuring a proper global sizing and phasing of launches and promotional goods by benchmarking with brand expectations.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas.
  • Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued.
  • Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar, Master in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Fluent English and Spanish are required.
  • High analytical profile, holistic vision, team management, and communication skills.
  • High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software.
  • SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools are mandatory.
