Job Summary
Solutions & Decisions is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planning Manager to lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning process for a multinational client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure accurate forecasting, optimized inventory levels, and optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process for a new cosmetic brand
- Coordinate launches and promotional items global forecasting
- Develop and maintain regular goods sales forecast
- Detect and highlight main deviations in sales forecast vs budget
- Provide inputs for the Strategic Sales and Operations Planning Process
- Lead the Global Sales and Operations Meeting with Global Brands, Global Finance, and Global Supply Planning
- Generate forecast for the Rest of the World
- Challenge global forecast and detect big deviations vs last month or vs budget
- Ensure communication and feedback with the Local Demand Planning Community
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as Demand Planner or minimum 5 years of experience in other Supply Chain areas
- Experience in the cosmetic industry is highly valued
- Graduate in Engineering, Administration, or similar; Master in Supply Chain is a plus
- Fluent English and Spanish are required
- High analytical profile, holistic vision, team management, and communication skills
- High skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office software
- SAP, JDA, APO, or similar planning tools are mandatory
