**Job Summary**

Chubb is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team in Madrid. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating business processes, conducting data analysis, defining requirements, and delivering innovative solutions to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and employee productivity.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide insights and recommendations for business improvements, developing actionable plans to implement (identifying both technical and non-technical solutions).
  • Offer recommendations for prioritizing business improvements (by understanding benefits and costs) and measuring the impact of implemented improvements.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technology, providing solutions to business issues and guiding the use of technology.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment, consistency, and delivery on strategic objectives.
  • Construct workflow charts and diagrams and analyze business systems and user needs.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported in the system.
  • Conduct and coordinate research to support strategic and business planning.
  • Provide training and support to end-users (including the maintenance of documentation).
  • Focus on delivering business value through sound testing methods and principles.

**Requirements:**

  • Advanced (C1) level in English.
  • Good level in Spanish.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated success in dealing with ambiguity, proven ability to communicate at all levels, including senior executive level, outstanding facilitation, problem resolution, cross-group collaboration, and organizational agility skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills.
  • Proven experience of stakeholder management.
  • A team player with a strong desire to achieve excellence.
  • Desired European languages like French, Dutch, German would be a strong plus.
  • Knowledge/experience of the insurance lifecycle from sales and underwriting, fulfillment and back-end processing, to finance and claims.
  • An understanding/appreciation of operating model design and best practice.
  • Demonstrate flexible and innovative ways of working, with creative/out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Exceptional presentation, engagement, and storytelling skills.
  • Knowledge of statistical methods including sampling and statistical inference.
  • Experience in/knowledge of data mining practices and practical application of such techniques.
