Job Title: Senior Electronics Engineer (Space)

We are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer (Space) to join our team in Torrejón de Ardoz, Madrid. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing space electronics equipment, including power, digital, and analog modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement space electronics equipment, including power, digital, and analog modules.
  • Design, simulate, test, and qualify complex space-grade electronics systems containing SoC and high-end FPGAs.
  • Test and support the qualification of integrated circuits in accordance with ECSS or MIL standards.
  • Design, implement, and deliver integrated circuits testing setups.
  • Conduct field trips for radiation, vibration, and shock testing of space electronics equipment.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical project documentation.
  • Mentor less-experienced designers.
  • Support EEE parts and electronics equipment failure investigations.
Requirements:
  • University degree and/or PhD in Engineering or Physics, specialization in electronics.
  • Solid basis in electronics design.
  • Experience developing space hardware.
  • Proficient in using circuit capture tools (Altium) and simulation tools at system and circuit level.
  • Experience in component testing, laboratory equipment use, and setting up test systems.
  • Experience working with complex multi-FPGAs and microprocessors systems.
  • Knowledge of revision control tools.
  • Knowledge of MIL/ECSS standards for HW and SW development.
  • Knowledge of MatLab/Simulink and LabVIEW is a plus.
  • Experience in radiation testing of space-grade components and systems is a plus.
  • Experience with high-speed operational amplifiers, high-speed data conversion (ADC, DAC), high-precision measurement, and low-noise acquisition is a plus.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Eligible to work in the EU and able to travel to the US.
  • Open-minded and ready to be challenged in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, multinational environment.
