Job Title: Quality and Food Safety Manager, Value Chains (E&A)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quality and Food Safety Manager to lead our Value Chains (E&A) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all commodities traded or processed in Bunge plants comply with Bunge Quality, Food and Feed Safety requirements and relevant regional or local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support all value chains, including destination soybean, soft seeds, and grains in Europe and Asia, to ensure quality and product safety and regulatory requirements are met.
- Work closely with trade execution, commercial, supply chain, and industrial teams to ensure quality and product safety and regulatory requirements are incorporated into commodity contracts.
- Communicate risk assessment changes to commercial, trade execution, QFS, and relevant teams to guide them on required minimum analysis for commodities.
- Lead indirectly a team of 4 people in 4 locations, working with cross-functional teams in Europe, Asia, and other origin teams globally.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food or Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, Food Chemistry, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in the food, feed industry, agri-business, with more than 10 years in regional and global roles and thorough knowledge of applicable quality, food, and feed safety standards.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management roles.
- Knowledgeable about EU and local regulations for respective countries.
- Experience with GMP+ and EFISC-GTP, GFSI benchmark Food Safety certifications, including their implementation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of contaminant analysis and relevant laboratory methods.
- Fluent business English.
- Spanish language is preferred based on location in Barcelona, Spain.
