Job Summary:
Gr. Antolin Irausa, S.A. (GANC) is seeking a highly skilled Commodity Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality materials and services to support our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute commodity strategies to meet business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, demand forecasts, and supplier performance to inform procurement decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, including regular communication and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide data and insights to support business decisions and drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data and drive insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
