Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:

Nutreco is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Supply Chain process at Operating Company level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the Supply Chain planning and forecasting process, including aligning various supply chain plans and managing information to ensure a structured planning process and tools in place.
  • Manage purchasing of materials and equipment to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost.
  • Manage logistic activities required for the timely and efficient transportation and warehousing of incoming and outgoing materials and distribution of products.
  • Manage the long-term capacity planning of raw material supply based on analysis of sales and raw material forecasting in close cooperation with Commercial, Purchasing, and Operations management.
  • Maintain relevant KPIs such as forecast accuracy, forecast bias, OTIF, and stock levels, including supplier performance evaluation methods.

Leadership and Development:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they are aware of their objectives and are performing against them.
  • Manage the development and performance of planners through coaching, skills development, and increased accountability.

Continuous Improvement and Projects:

  • Identify, benchmark, and implement Supply Chain best practices.
  • Initiate and implement operational improvements through development of control systems within all teams.
  • Drive the efficiency and effectiveness of all Supply Chain activities to ensure a responsive and robust response to customer demand.

Quality and HSE Compliance:

  • Assure that all activities and operations are executed in line with HSE/Quality rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness thereof.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree, 6-8 years' experience.
  • Management breadth: 3-5 years' work experience.
  • Optimization: Responsible for Supply Chain activities related in objective and content, operational and tactical focus.
  • Organizational impact: Contributes to new methods/procedures and improves existing methods, systems, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder interaction: Maintains contact with a group of stakeholders at a tactical level throughout the organization and externally.
