Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Services Associate III to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process guest check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, and room change/late check-out requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Secure payment and activate/reissue room keys as needed.
  • Verify and adjust billing for guests to ensure accuracy and fairness.
  • Communicate with other staff members to ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Provide directions and information to guests, and answer their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station and respond to guest calls and requests.
  • Count and secure bank at the beginning and end of shift, and process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, charges, and provide change.
  • Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any reports of theft or suspicious activity.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time, and move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous customer service experience in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
