Job Title: Lead Legal

Cepsa Colombia S.A. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Legal professional to join our team. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, financial management, project management, knowledge management, and technological expertise to support the company's business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and supervise the legal strategy for the company, in alignment with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the budget and resource allocation for the Legal Department.
  • Lead the annual budget preparation with each responsible of CECO, providing a consolidated vision and suggestions to capture potential efficiencies.
  • Supervise and communicate the incurred expenses vs budget, identifying relevant deviations to be proactively managed.
  • Facilitate reporting and detect and implement solutions to make the Legal Department more efficient.
  • Leverage technology to digitalize and automate processes, improving the overall efficiency of the Legal Department.
  • Evaluate and make decisions on software and technology purchases to enhance the Legal Department's capabilities.
  • Ensure knowledge transfer between Legal Department professionals through specific initiatives and tools.
  • Plan and implement a training catalog for the Legal Department, including external training or knowledge updates.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Ecofin, IT, and Transformation Office, to achieve business objectives.
