About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Advisor to join our team at Cepsa Bioenergia S. Roque. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing legal advice and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice to the business on various matters, including contracts, corporate issues, regulatory compliance, and pre-litigation situations.
  • Research and analyze relevant laws, regulations, and judicial precedents to ensure compliance with applicable legal standards.
  • Draft and negotiate contracts and documents, monitor projects and operations, and resolve legal issues that arise.
  • Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and business partners.
  • Conduct internal and external legal investigations as necessary to resolve disputes or legal issues.
  • Stay up to date on changes in relevant legislation and regulations and assess their impact on our operations.
  • Identify and prevent legal risks specific to the sector and our operations.
  • Represent the company in litigation, arbitration, or other legal processes, or collaborate with external lawyers if necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business and/or Law or other closely related professional qualification.
  • 6+ years post-qualifying experience operating in strategic roles.
  • Excellent knowledge of the mechanics of regulation and a regulated business.
  • Ability to quickly grasp, synthesize, and retain significant industry knowledge.
  • Strong influencing skills and a track record of influencing effectively at senior level.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide coaching and direction to senior and junior professionals.
  • Experience managing, overseeing, and delivering projects of scale.
