Technical Manager Home Care Specialist

Key Responsibilities

As a Technical Manager Home Care at BASF Española S.L., you will be the first point of contact for technical functions at our customers, driving sales growth with our existing portfolio. You will link customers and their needs to laboratory and central functions, solving problems related to our portfolio, such as finding alternatives for labeling changes or shortages. You will also consult with customers, answer their questions, and introduce our products, as well as proactively seek further sales potentials at our customers. Additionally, you will organize and execute technical workshops with customers to strengthen BASF's position, develop account plans with sales and marketing, and document opportunities and achievements related to technical activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry (Master or PhD highly valued) and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You must be able to drive sustainable solutions, demonstrate customer focus, and entrepreneurial drive. Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish is required, with an additional proficiency in French or Italian being an asset. You must also be able to travel around 30% of the working time and have deep user knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
