Data Center Facility Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Facility Engineer to join our Engineering and Facilities team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of our electrical and mechanical infrastructure in our Data Centers (DCs) in West London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in our DCs
  • Ensure the implementation of safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
  • Work closely with our Engineering and Facilities team to ensure the availability of our customers
  • Maintain and operate technical infrastructure and upkeep and operation of the DC facility

Requirements:

  • Experience leading and managing operations of critical facilities with in-depth knowledge in electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in data center engineering and a Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, construction management or similar technical focus
