About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Technician to join our team at Amazon Data Services Spain, S. L. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team of experts in software, hardware, and network engineering, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

As a Data Center Operations Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall availability and reliability of our Data Center Engineering Operations. You will assist in the operation and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and HVAC equipment within the Data Center / Facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintenance and monitoring of all Data Center systems to include incidents/events, problems, changes, monitoring, problem escalation/notification/resolution and all other aspects of Data Center support.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, voice/data, chiller systems and generators.
  • Provide assistance to contractor or data center engineers to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
  • Perform site walkthroughs to verify proper operation of Facility Equipment and Monitoring Systems.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent diploma.
  • Experience in data center engineering.
