**Job Summary**

The Global Category Manager, Digital Transformation will play a key role in driving value creation for Diageo's Digital & Technology category. This role will lead sourcing decisions, develop and implement category strategies, and ensure the commercial elements of spend are implemented thoughtfully with vendors.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and lead Digital & Technology procurement across Consumer, Customer, Supply, Tech Foundations, Analytics & Insights, and Corporate spaces through effective business partnering and collaboration.
  • Apply strategic procurement excellence, creating category strategies built on Diageo's best methods, standards, and tools to deliver procurement value.
  • Drive end-to-end execution of category strategies, ensuring global and market category professionals are aligned and working in line with strategy.
  • Serve as subject-matter expert for specific spend categories, ensuring collection and leverage of supply market expertise and close engagement with collaborators for value-adding procurement.

**Accountabilities**

  • **Leadership**: Build, manage, and elevate the business impact of Procurement within Digital & Technology, inspiring and developing junior members of the team.
  • **End-to-End Category Excellence**: Take ultimate ownership for maximizing procurement value for Diageo from one or more spend categories.
  • **Category Strategy**: Develop and implement category strategies, ensuring alignment with Diageo's business goals and objectives.
  • **Business Partnering**: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

**Requirements**

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, with experience in developing and implementing category strategies. They will be able to build strong relationships with stakeholders, drive value creation, and lead cross-functional teams.
