Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our Media Services team in Barcelona and work for the UK clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the digital advertising space, preferably from the publisher side.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve and overperform the annual revenue targets for the UK market.
  • Monetize the audience of our sites by optimizing all revenue streams: Premium display formats, Social Media, Audience extension, Influencer partnerships, and special project campaigns.
  • Understand our clients' KPIs and ensure delivery of these expectations.
  • Advise brief clients during the sales process.
  • Maintain client relationships through regular communication.
  • Create a customized sales proposition for clients.
  • Identify and develop a portfolio of clients in the tourism sector (mainly international and domestic tourism boards but also airports) and develop the media agency side.
  • Establish long-term relations to increase customers' investment in ODIGEO's brands.
  • Contribute to tactical and strategic initiatives, new concepts, and new advertising formats to optimize trading performance.
  • Achieve all sales performance metrics to build and convert a strong sales pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales within the digital advertising space, preferably from the publisher side.
  • Perfect knowledge of the digital advertising environment.
  • Portfolio of clients and/or online media contacts is highly advantageous.
  • Proactive, results-driven individual with a high level of client relationship management.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative.
  • University degree related to Business/Tourism and Marketing, Advertising, or E-Commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in English, native speaker is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
