About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Novartis as a Business Analyst in our Clinical Studies team. As a key member of our Operations division, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with global business leaders and subject matter experts to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive requirement specifications to ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing and validation.
  • Perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility of projects and develop project rationales.
  • Identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with the service development team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in the specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services.
  • Ensure that implemented solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal IT systems, documentation requirements, standards, regulatory environments, and industry best practices.
  • Take accountability for ensuring adherence to Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, business, or similar.
  • 12+ years of total experience and a strong track record as a Business Analyst, including business process reengineering, user requirements gathering, and documentation techniques.
  • Good experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile Scrum projects.
  • Experience working in the Pharmaceutical Industry, ideally in the Clinical Studies area.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to influence and exercise business judgment.
  • Track record delivering global solutions at scale.
  • Self-starter with ability to work autonomously in a highly matrixed and multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience in Testing/Computer System Validation.
Language:

Business fluent in English (written and spoken).
