Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Project Manager to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SPAIN, S.A.U. This role focuses on managing projects related to Battery Energy Storage Systems within our Grid Automation business unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee warranty and Service Level Agreements (SLA) from the Project Acceptance Certificate (PAC) to Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC).
  • Ensure financial performance and accountability for project outcomes.
  • Identify and manage project risks effectively.
  • Facilitate the handover process in collaboration with Lead Engineering, ensuring a comprehensive transfer of project documentation.
  • Coordinate resources across various functions, including Service Engineers, Research & Development, and Engineering teams.
  • Engage with suppliers to support project activities, including troubleshooting and component delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and updates.
  • Conduct weekly meetings to review the status of ongoing cases.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of case resolutions.
  • Share lessons learned with the organization to enhance future project execution.
  • Collaborate with the service engineering team to manage spare parts inventory and schedule maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards.

Candidate Profile

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in equipment installation and project coordination with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficiency in Office365 applications, including Excel, SAP, and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong command of the English language.
  • Attributes such as flexibility, proactivity, results-oriented mindset, and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • A degree or Master's degree in Management Engineering or a related engineering field is preferred.
