Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agency Risk Specialist to join our WFS Agency Management Team at Amazon Spain Fulfillment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the performance of allocated third-party staffing agencies across Spain, ensuring they meet contractual metrics and deliver high-quality services to our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performance Monitoring and Vendor Management: Own the relationship with allocated third-party staffing agencies, monitoring their performance and holding them accountable for delivery against pre-agreed contractual metrics.
  • Partnership and Advisory Role: Partner with staffing agencies to remove blockers that impact agency performance, providing functional expertise and support to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Agency Risk Management: Collaborate with the Agency Risk team and OpsPXT partners to address repeated agency underperformance or escalations, working closely with the Business Management team to resolve issues.
  • Reviews and Audits: Conduct in-depth formal reviews and audits with staffing agencies to assess their readiness for event days, peak, and launch hiring, monitoring their completion of required actions in a timely manner.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead and contribute to cross-business line and country proposals for tactical initiatives that improve temporary labor hiring outcomes, considering both business and third-party staffing agency perspectives.
  • Representative Role: Represent staffing agency requirements and considerations in cross-functional strategic programs at the territory and/or country level, including technology, product, policy, or process changes.
  • Transformation Programs: Support cross-functional transformation programs to define territory-level strategies regarding third-party staffing agency usage.

Requirements

  • Education: Masters degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience partnering with senior, cross-functional stakeholders to determine goals, inform decisions, and design long-term solutions.
  • Vendor Management: Experience managing a commercial multi-site master vendor contingency agency or Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) model.
  • Skills: Strong business acumen, good judgment, ability to evaluate and make trade-offs between short-term and long-term needs, handle complex problems/efforts, decisions, and escalations, skilled mediator, and comfortable using data and evidence to convey ideas and recommendations.
