Page Executive is a leading provider of executive search and recruitment services. We are currently seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Global Engineering Director.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and engineering efforts for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. This will involve managing a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design and engineering efforts for BESS, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive excellence in execution.
• Oversee the implementation of BESS projects, from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
• Manage project execution of engineering design, material, equipment, and construction specification development for various battery storage projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with international suppliers, particularly in China, US, and Japan, to source high-quality components and materials for BESS manufacturing.
• Collaborate with the R&D team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in BESS technology, staying ahead of industry trends and customer requirements.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders within the Page Executive Group to leverage synergies and optimize resource allocation for BESS projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements in the design and implementation of BESS solutions.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• 10+ years' experience in Energy Storage System (ESS) design and engineering team management.
• Experience with DG or Utility-scale BESS system design is preferred.
• Experience leading an international high-performing global team.
• Familiarity with international suppliers, particularly in USA, LATAM, and Europe.
