About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join our team as a Project Design Electrical Engineer, Fleet Remediation Engineering at Mygwork. As a key member of our multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for leading design projects in operational data centers, remediating issues, upgrading our existing infrastructure, and adding new services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions that add data center infrastructure, capacity, improve availability, and increase sustainability.
  • Work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions.
  • Support construction, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Be detail and data oriented with familiarity with design/construction processes.
  • Build trust and relationships with different stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Commissioning, Construction and Design).
A Day in the Life

As a Project Design Electrical Engineer, you will interact with different teams responsible for various aspects of the data centers. You will mentor and oversee the work of junior engineers in your discipline. You will have the opportunity to work on projects locally and globally, with up to 25% travel.

About the Team

The Fleet Remediation Team is a multidisciplinary engineering team that delivers engineering design support to operational AWS data centres. We ensure safety, availability, and resilience of data centre infrastructure.
