Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Critical Systems Engineer to join our team at Lily'S Softwash. As a key member of our Critical Systems team, you will play a leading role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions on large-scale data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our Critical Systems team to drive and manage the delivery of technically excellent and profitable projects.
- Be closely involved in the design process and production of design deliverables, managing a team of engineers.
- Monitor budgets and programs, check designs, and communicate with the wider project and client team.
- Use your expertise to manage, motivate, and inspire colleagues, including helping to develop less experienced engineers.
- Support and be supported by senior staff within the team.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering or a Chartered Electrical Engineer (CEng equivalent).
- Proven experience in an Electrical Engineering role, ideally within a data centre/critical systems context.
- Proven ability in producing schematic diagrams, fault and discrimination studies, preparing specifications and project reports, carrying out site inspections and surveys, and detail design development.
- Excellent communication skills and experience of using your initiative to overcome challenges.
