Senior Electrical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead our HV Substation Construction team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of high-voltage substations that power our cloud business.
Key Responsibilities- Provide construction project management and oversight of construction-related activities for new HV substation projects in various locations.
- Interface with construction general contractors during the bidding, award, execution, and project closeout/punch list phases.
- Work with general contractors and vendors to deliver efficient and high-quality project turn-overs in line with electrical utility requirements.
- Create construction project scope and request for proposals.
- Lead within the group as well as within internal and external teams that support the data center.
- Travel to HV Substation sites for engineering evaluations, electrical systems audits, mechanical system reviews, start-up testing, and full commissioning, as required.
Our HV substations are industry-leading examples of energy-efficient, cost-effective designs. The Senior Construction Manager is ultimately responsible for the oversight and review of all disciplines including civil, electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or an equivalent engineering science.
- 7+ years of recent experience in construction management of large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical engineering principles including breaker coordination studies and switch-gear sequence of operation.
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical engineering principles for cooling systems.
- Demonstrated contractor and vendor management experience (request for proposals, bidding, change orders) associated with construction and project execution.
