### Job Title: Senior Researcher in Second Language Acquisition

### Job Description:

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Researcher in Second Language Acquisition to join our team at the Institute for Multilingualism. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading research in Second Language Acquisition in various learning contexts and collaborating with other members of the GRAM group.

### Key Responsibilities:

* Lead research in Second Language Acquisition in different learning contexts
* Collaborate with other members of the GRAM group
* Apply for national and international research grants to self-fund research
* Supervise graduate and undergraduate students' dissertations
* Work in groups and with other teams

### Requirements:

* PhD in a discipline related to the position (e.g. SLA, Applied Linguistics, Multilingualism, Education, Bilingualism, language teaching, etc.)
* Senior profiles, with a minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience, are desirable

### Assessment Criteria:

* Excellent track record in SLA research with solid skills and proven experience in quantitative and/or qualitative research
* Proven record of effective teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level in the fields of Applied Linguistics and/or English for Specific Purposes
* Ability to lead a research group and secure external funding
