About the RoleThe selected candidate will work on the SOCIAL-PIA project, a Moonshot Research & Development Program financed by the Japan Science and Technology Agency. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop innovative techniques in human-robot interaction and contribute to the advancement of human-centered robotics.
Key Responsibilities- Develop deep learning and robotic navigation and planning techniques for human-robot interaction
- Collaborate with the Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems group at IRI
- Validate developed techniques through experiments with humanoid robots
- Publish research findings in prestigious conferences and journals in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence domains
- Doctorate in a relevant field
- Robust mathematical and Artificial Intelligence/Robotics background
- Experience in conducting research in AI and Robotics
- Expertise in HRI is highly valued
- Proficiency in deep learning techniques, robotic navigation, and planning
This is a one-year position, extendable to a second year, with a gross annual salary of approximately 42,000€. We offer a dynamic and collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to contribute to groundbreaking research in human-robot interaction.
Code in Motion LLC is a renowned Joint University Research Institute, supported by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), specializing in human-centered robotics and automatic control.
