The Institut de Robòtica i Informàtica Industrial (IRI) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in the field of Human-Robot Interaction. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in human-centered robotics and develop innovative techniques in human-robot interaction.
The Postdoctoral Researcher will work collaboratively with the Mobile Robotics and Intelligent Systems group at IRI to develop deep learning and robotic navigation and planning techniques for Human-Robot Interaction. The candidate will also be responsible for validating the developed techniques through experiments with humanoid robots and publishing research findings in prestigious conferences and journals in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence domains.
To be successful in this role, the candidate should have a strong background in robust mathematical and Artificial Intelligence/Robotics, experience in conducting research in AI and Robotics, and expertise in HRI. Proficiency in deep learning techniques, robotic navigation, and planning is highly valued.
The selected Postdoctoral Researcher will have the opportunity to work on a Moonshot Research & Development Program financed by the Japan Science and Technology Agency and contribute to groundbreaking research in human-robot interaction.
IRI is a renowned Joint University Research Institute, supported by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) and the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC), specializing in human-centered robotics and automatic control.
