Festo, a global leader in engineering, is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join their Digital Hub in Barcelona. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation projects across the company.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain the frontend of Festo's global eCommerce web platform, supporting online catalog and customer transactions in over 55 countries.
- Create decentralized frontend modules with a cutting-edge micro-frontend-based system architecture, powered by Module Federation.
- Write automated software tests and documentation to ensure code quality, utilizing Vitest and Playwright.
- Coordinate development with stakeholders, operations teams, and QA teams, while supporting a distributed agile team across Spain, Germany, and Lithuania.
- Degree in information technology or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on React, TypeScript, Sass, and GitLab.
- Experience with React Meta Frameworks, OpenAPI, CI/CD, Docker, and Module Federation is a plus.
- High standards for quality code and UX, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in an international team.
- Good written and spoken English skills, with Spanish, German, and Lithuanian language skills valued but not required.
