Join Festo's Digital Hub as a Front-End Developer

Festo, a global leader in engineering, is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join its Digital Hub in Barcelona. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation across the company.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented Front-End Developer to work with our cutting-edge technology stack, including Modern.js, Module Federation, Sass, TypeScript, OpenAPI, Docker, Vitest, and Playwright. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of our global eCommerce web platform, supporting our online catalog and processing customer transactions in over 55 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain decentralized frontend modules with a cutting-edge micro-frontend-based system architecture
  • Create automated software tests and documentation to ensure code quality
  • Coordinate and align development with various stakeholders, a dedicated operations team, and a QA team
  • Support and collaborate with a distributed, cross-border agile team (Spain, Germany, and Lithuania)
Requirements
  • Degree in information technology or similar
  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Strong practical experience in React, advanced state management, TypeScript, Sass, and GitLab
  • Experience with React Meta Frameworks, OpenAPI, fundamental CI/CD knowledge, Docker, and Module Federation is a plus
