Join Our Team as a Front-End Developer

Festo, a global leader in engineering, is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to join our Digital Hub in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving digital transformation projects across the company.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in React, advanced state management, TypeScript, Sass, and GitLab. Experience with React Meta Frameworks, OpenAPI, CI/CD knowledge, Docker, and Module Federation is a plus. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the frontend of our constantly evolving enterprise-level global eCommerce web platform, supporting our online catalog and processing customer transactions in over 55 countries worldwide.

As a Front-End Developer, you will work closely with our distributed, cross-border agile team (Spain, Germany, and Lithuania) to create decentralized frontend modules with a cutting-edge micro-frontend-based system architecture. You will also be responsible for creating automated software tests and documentation to ensure code quality, using unit tests with Vitest and end-to-end tests with Playwright.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Strong practical experience in React, advanced state management, TypeScript, Sass, and GitLab
  • Experience with React Meta Frameworks, OpenAPI, fundamental CI/CD knowledge, Docker, and Module Federation is a plus
  • High standards for quality code and UX
  • Ability to work in an international and diverse team with good communication skills
  • Independent and structured way of working with holistic thinking
  • Good written and spoken English skills
