At Festo, we're seeking a talented Back-End Developer to join our Digital Hub in Barcelona. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving digital transformation projects across the company.

About the Role:

We're looking for a skilled developer with experience in Java and Spring to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend side of our eCommerce web platform, processing customer transactions in over 55 countries worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the backend side of our eCommerce web platform.
  • Create automated software tests and documentation.
  • Coordinate and align requirements with product owners and stakeholders.
  • Support and collaborate with a distributed agile team.

Requirements:

  • Degree in information technology or similar.
  • 3+ years of related professional experience.
  • Practical experience coding monolithic backend and REST APIs with Java and Spring.
  • Ability to work in an international and diverse team with good communication skills.
  • Independent and structured way of working with holistic thinking.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Spanish, German, and Lithuanian language skills are valued but not required.
