Job Summary

The Executive Director of Philanthropy will lead the organization's fundraising efforts, developing and implementing strategies to achieve growth goals. This role will oversee a team of fundraising professionals, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and collaborating with the Leadership Team to shape fundraising strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to achieve growth goals, including grants, sponsorships, gifts, donations, and fundraising events.
  • Lead the Philanthropy Team, setting individual objectives, providing coaching and mentorship, and holding team members accountable for fundraising processes and outcomes.
  • Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals, growing revenue and leading by example, while respecting team regional boundaries.
  • Collaborate with the CFO to prepare annual philanthropy revenue budget, track monthly fundraising, and adapt tactics to respond to revenue shortfalls.
  • Work within the scope of the annual OIC Program Portfolio for donor proposals, collaborating with the Program Team to prepare specific proposals to engage larger donors.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Team to execute events with excellence, oversee mid/mass donors, and make effective use of the donor database.
