Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Spain. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in the Energy, Infrastructure, and Manufacturing sectors with environmental permitting, impact assessment, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Studies
Develop comprehensive environmental and social impact assessment studies for our clients, including pre-feasibility studies and permitting documents.
Manage Environmental Critical AspectsEnsure compliance with all applicable Spanish regulations and manage environmental critical aspects for our clients.
Support Project ManagementSupport project managers in managing small to medium-sized projects, including coordinating with project teams and mentoring junior personnel.
Deliver Project Tasks and ComponentsDeliver multiple project tasks and components, including proposal development and commercial activities.
Establish Strong Client RelationshipsEstablish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery and support commercial activities such as business development and proposal writing.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering or Sciences
A master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences or other relevant disciplines.
Project Management ExperienceExperience as a project manager and generating revenues.
Relevant Industry ExperienceIdeally 4-6 years of experience in relevant fields such as consulting or environmental services, with specific focus on environmental permitting, EIA, and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence, in Spain.
Language SkillsProficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.
International StandardsFamiliarity with International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.).
Emerging Energy SystemsExperience with emerging energy systems (hydrogen, offshore wind, battery storage, floating solar) will be considered a plus.
