About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ESG Deal Advisory Professional with expertise in the infrastructure investment and renewable energy sectors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of capital markets for infrastructure transactions and be proficient in conducting ESG due diligence to assess the sustainability performance of target companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ESG due diligence exercises on environmental, social, governance (ESG) and health and safety (HS) issues to help companies identify material ESG, HS and reputational risks and impacts and sustainable development opportunities.
  • Evaluate the ESG performance of projects against European and international standards such as the EU Taxonomy, the Sustainable Finance Directive Regulation, Equator Principles, and IFC Performance Standards.
  • Provide expert advice on strategic ESG issues, leveraging a global pool of subject matter experts.
  • Prepare high-quality, reader-oriented, and clear reports and presentations to meet client needs.
  • Lead and coordinate ESG workstreams in large, global projects, ensuring client satisfaction and profitable outcomes.
Requirements
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in ESG and EHS due diligence and experience or interest in developing experience in sustainability disciplines (ESG) as a deal/transaction consultant.
  • Master's degree in environmental engineering, Environmental and Social Management or other relevant disciplines.
  • Working knowledge of English and Spanish (C1) is required.
  • Knowledge of other languages will be considered as a plus (preferred Portuguese/French).
