Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Environmental Consultant to join our team in Spain. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in developing and implementing environmental strategies and solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Environmental Impact Assessment
- Develop Prefeasibility and Environmental & Social Impact Assessment studies, permitting studies, EDD (mainly focused on the Italian market);
- Project Management
- Manage environmental critical aspects to ensure compliance with all applicable Spanish regulations;
- Business Development
- Support in managing or coordinating small size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects;
- Delivering multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals;
- Supervising project team(s) and mentoring junior personnel;
- Establishing strong working relationships with clients through project delivery;
- Supporting with commercial activities: Business Development, proposals writing and pitching.
Requirements
- Education
- A master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Sciences or other relevant disciplines;
- Experience
- Experience as a project manager and generating revenues;
- Ideally 4-6 years of experience in relevant fields such as consulting or environmental services, with specific focus on environmental permitting, EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence, in Spain;
- Skills
- Proficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken;
- Familiarity with International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.);
- Experience with emerging energy systems (hydrogen, offshore wind, battery storage, floating solar) will be considered a plus.
