Senior Environmental Consultant

As a Senior Environmental Consultant at ERM, you will be responsible for developing and managing Environmental & Social Impact Assessment studies/projects. You will prepare, update and review technical documentation, manage relationships with authorities, clients, and contractors, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations with major emphasis on IPPC Decree, EIA decrees, and Permitting. You will also define, coordinate, and implement Environmental monitoring plans, identify and develop new project opportunities, prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates, and maintain client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage Environmental & Social Impact Assessment studies/projects. - Prepare, update and review technical documentation. - Manage relationships with authorities, clients, and contractors. - Define, coordinate, and implement Environmental monitoring plans. - Identify and develop new project opportunities. - Prepare effective technical proposals and cost estimates. - Maintain client relationships.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or similar. - 5-8 years of experience as an Environmental Consultant in a Consultancy Firm. - 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager. - Proficiency in English and Spanish, written and spoken. - Working knowledge of French will be considered a plus. - Familiarity with EHS National Environmental regulation and International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.). - Proven experience in liaising with authorities/decision makers and stakeholders.
