**Job Summary**

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have some experience in construction and, ideally, with a focus on data centers, renewable energy, and large-scale EPC projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

• General quantity surveying (measurements, pricing, register management, administration & reporting)

• Cost Estimation and Planning (budgeting, tender preparation and assistance with various costing exercises and analysis)

• Contract Administration (document and contract management, variations and ensuring compliance)

• Procurement (creation and monitoring of procurement schedule, negotiations, onboarding, price analysis and maintaining procurement information and controls)

• Revenue management (payment applications, cash flow and opportunity management and pursuit of variations)

• Cost Control and Reporting (project costs and expenditure monitoring, reporting, tracking and managing project budgets, cost-coding)

• Risk Management (identifying potential risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, reporting)

• Project Support (team and project support where needed)

• Stakeholders & general communication (assist with supplier agreement and sub-contractors management, client liaison, clear transfer of project information, meetings, relationship-building)

**Preferred Qualifications**

• Bachelor's degree in Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field

• Professional registration with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ASAQS or equivalent preferable, but not necessary

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying/ cost engineering

• Knowledge of construction and engineering contracts

• Experience with construction software preferable

**Desirable Traits**

• Energy and a willingness to learn

• Analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to the energy sector

• Some Spanish language is preferable

• Ability to work independently

**Work Environment**

This role may require travel to project sites and client meetings and at times, cross-border travel. Flexible working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
