Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Spain. The ideal candidate will have some experience in construction and, ideally, with a focus on data centers, renewable energy, and large-scale EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- General quantity surveying (measurements, pricing, register management, administration & reporting)
- Cost estimation and planning (budgeting, tender preparation, and assistance with various costing exercises and analysis)
- Contract administration (document and contract management, variations, and ensuring compliance)
- Procurement (creation and monitoring of procurement schedule, negotiations, onboarding, price analysis, and maintaining procurement information and controls)
- Revenue management (payment applications, cash flow, and opportunity management and pursuit of variations)
- Cost control and reporting (project costs and expenditure monitoring, reporting, tracking, and managing project budgets, cost-coding)
- Risk management (identifying potential risks, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, reporting)
- Project support (team and project support where needed)
- Stakeholders & general communication (assist with supplier agreement and sub-contractors management, client liaison, clear transfer of project information, meetings, relationship-building)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Cost Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Professional registration with RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), ASAQS, or equivalent preferable, but not necessary
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in quantity surveying/cost engineering

- Understanding of environmental and sustainability issues related to the energy sector
- Some Spanish language is preferable
- Ability to work independently
Work Environment: This role may require travel to project sites and client meetings and at times, cross-border travel. Flexible working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
