About the Role

As a Central Sales Representative at Amazon, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) among enterprise-level customers, including public sector organizations. You will work closely with the AWS Global Sales team to identify new opportunities and develop targeted campaigns to accelerate customer consumption of AWS services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the segment manager to define business strategy and develop a named account plan to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in a defined territory, leveraging internal resources to engage with customers and execute their strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business expansion, manage multiple accounts concurrently, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in technical sales for B2B or in a solution-sales/technology-related environment.
  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies, including cloud computing and software as a service (SaaS).
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  • Fluency in English; German or French preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Cloud Certification.
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing and SaaS technologies.
