About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Restaurants to join our team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for directing the operations of all Food and Beverage outlets within the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure high-quality service that meets guest needs promptly and courteously, maximizing satisfaction and encouraging return visits.
- Develop and implement strategies to exceed guest expectations and drive loyalty.
- Define service standards and lead the team to consistently meet them, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Contribute to the hiring process, conduct performance appraisals, and make personnel-related decisions.
- Track and control team productivity and operational expenses to ensure profitability.
- Ensure that food and beverage products are of the highest quality and presented effectively.
- Support the Director of Food and Beverage in various administrative tasks, including departmental reports and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Degree with emphasis in Hospitality/Restaurants management.
- +4 years experience in hospitality within hotels/restaurants with high volume of food & beverage operations in a management role.
- Knowledge of local market will be a plus.
- Proven team leader with a high level of energy and motivation with a proven track record of living the company's values.
- Proficient knowledge of computer systems such as: Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook is required.
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
