Position Overview:
Our Global Services team at 2K is seeking a proactive Environment Artist/External Art Manager to collaborate on multiple exciting AAA projects. This role will involve close cooperation with Producers and Prop/Environment Artists within our studio, as well as with external art teams globally.
We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who is passionate about creating high-quality games and is ready to embrace challenges in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Producers, Lead Prop/Environment Artists, Directors, and other Artists to align with the project's artistic vision and game design principles.
- Review and assess content produced by internal and external Prop and Environment Art teams, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Uphold and enhance the quality standards for the projects, while also mentoring team members to develop their skills.
- Manage workload effectively, respond to time-sensitive requests, and proactively communicate any obstacles encountered.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the AAA gaming sector.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine 5.
- Solid understanding of video game development processes, with experience on at least one released title.
- A portfolio showcasing Prop/Environment Art relevant to game production.
- Familiarity with 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Strong sense of composition and attention to detail.
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced workflow while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Capable of independently following guidelines and completing complex tasks within deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
