Position Overview:
Our Global Services division at 2K is seeking a proactive Environment Artist/External Art Manager. This role is essential for collaborating on several high-profile AAA projects, working closely with both internal teams and external art partners globally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Producers, Lead Artists, and Directors to align with the artistic vision and game design principles.
- Review and assess content produced by internal and external teams, addressing any challenges that may arise.
- Uphold and enhance quality standards for projects, mentoring team members to develop their skills.
- Manage workload effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks while proactively communicating any obstacles.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- A self-motivated individual with strong communication abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the AAA gaming sector.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine 5.
- Familiarity with video game development processes, having contributed to at least one released title.
- A portfolio showcasing Prop/Environment Art relevant to game production.
- Experience with 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender.
- Strong compositional skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Capable of independently following guidelines and completing complex tasks within deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
