We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Environment Artist to join our team at 2K Games. As a key member of our art team, you will be responsible for leading the development of immersive and engaging environments for our next-generation games.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Art Directors and other Leads to ensure that the environment art team understands the artistic vision and propagates the artistic values throughout the game.
- Work with Design and Narrative leads to create stunning and compelling environments that bring our games to life.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with the leads and production teams to align team efforts and ensure successful project delivery.
- Establish and maintain modular asset pipelines for world and architecture kits, and partner with Production to provide feedback and input on development schedules.
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Art Environment Team, and mentor and grow leadership potential within the team.
- Proven experience as an Environment Artist in AAA game development, with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficiency in Substance Designer and Substance Painter, with knowledge of developing workflows and leading a team of artists.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate visions and share ideas across disciplines.
- Knowledge of all the tools, techniques, and asset creation pipelines, including UE5, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, ZBrush, Maya/Blender, Photoshop, and Jira.
