Position Overview:
Our Global Services team, based in our Valencia studio, is seeking a proactive Environment Artist/External Art Manager. This role is essential for collaborating on multiple AAA projects, requiring close interaction with Producers and both internal and external art teams across the globe.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable professional who is passionate about creating high-quality games and is eager to tackle challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Producers, Lead Prop/Environment Artists, and Directors to ensure alignment with the artistic vision and game design principles.
- Review and assess content produced by internal and external teams, addressing any issues that may arise.
- Maintain and uphold quality standards for projects, while also mentoring team members to enhance their skills.
- Effectively manage workload, ensuring timely completion of tasks while proactively communicating any obstacles.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and excellent communication abilities.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the AAA gaming sector.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine 5.
- Familiarity with video game development processes, with experience on at least one released title.
- A portfolio showcasing Prop/Environment Art relevant to game production.
- Knowledge of 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender is essential.
- Strong compositional skills and attention to detail.
- Able to adapt to a demanding workflow while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Capable of independently following guidelines and completing complex tasks within deadlines.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
