About the Role

As a Sales Team Lead for EMEA Markets, you will be responsible for growing the American Express acceptance network across Europe by managing and closing inbound sales opportunities. You will work closely with the Global Customer Group Premium Servicing teams to support the set up of global accounts across all repatriated markets, primarily in Eastern and Southern Europe, as well as Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and close inbound sales opportunities to grow the AMEX acceptance network across Europe
  • End-to-end ownership of leads, from first contact through to closing the sale, account set up, and ensuring merchants can fully benefit from accepting American Express
  • Work with the Aggregation team to set up accounts for merchants moving from aggregation to direct acceptance via payment designation across Europe
Requirements
  • High-level English written and spoken
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Previous inbound or outbound sales experience a plus
  • Strong process focus, adaptability, driven by objectives, ambitious, and communicative
  • Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), Salesforce a bonus
