The OpportunityThe Operations Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales process by processing reservations, confirming services, and issuing travel documents. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless travel experiences.
Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional customer service and support to all company personnel and clients
- Accurately process requests and confirmations for hotels, transfers, sightseeing, and cars while adhering to company policies and procedures
- Assist managers and reservation staff with customer service emails, research, follow-up, and calls
- Make independent decisions with customers and coworkers while maintaining our customer service standards and financial profitability
- Maintain ongoing communication with the manager about procedures and problems and offer suggestions for resolutions
- Respond promptly to all co-workers and customers, following through with resolution
- Process email correspondence
- Conduct quality control of final documentation sent to clients
- Participate in the emergency duty rotation, which includes being on-call as needed, while adhering to our emergency duty operational standards
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
- Experience in the travel industry is a requirement
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Minimum education requires a high school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Good time management and ability to multi-task
- Courteous and professional telephone manner
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook
- Proficiency in Amadeus and Rail Europe ERA system a plus
