About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at ATG Europe. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend and participate in welding activities, non-destructive tests, dimensional and visual examinations, leak tests, and other manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with approved procedures.
  • Verify and enforce adherence to quality management systems, including the reporting of non-compliances and the review of test reports.
  • Support the production team in ensuring that reports are issued on time and follow the required review processes.
  • Assist in the review of end-of-manufacturing reports and provide inputs to update internal working schedules.
  • Monitor manufacturer's progress in relation to the corresponding schedule, providing early warnings in case of deficiencies or slippage.
  • Provide technical support in the review and follow-up of quality-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely completion of manufacturing activities.
  • Support the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Participate in the review and qualification of joining techniques for mechanical components.
  • Support the design, manufacturing, and testing of engineering systems to be used under vacuum and/or for cryogenic applications.
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (RT, PT, VT, UT, etc.) and provide technical support in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components.
  • Support the organization of production for the manufacturing of mechanical components.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Nuclear Engineering.
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing of mechanical components under a Quality Management System.
  • Experience in the use of codes and standards used for the design and manufacturing of mechanical components (ASME III, ASME VIII, RCC-MR, RCC-MRx, Eurocodes, EN standards, etc.).
  • Knowledge of specifying process equipment, pressure vessels, big exchangers, etc.
  • Experience in working with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software such as Navision (365 Business Central) and experience in cost+fee contracts would be advantageous.
  • Experience in cost control tasks related to manufacturing activities.
  • Knowledge of material heat treatments and/or surface finishing treatments.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Candidates must be eligible to work and live in the EU.
