Job Title: Chief Financial Officer Southern Europe

ArcelorMittal Construction is the leading global provider of steel building systems and solutions, as well as sandwich panels for roofing, cladding, composite floors, light gauge structures, and modular housing. We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Southern Europe. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our finance strategy to drive growth, profitability, and financial stability across our entities in Iberia, Italy, the Caribbean, and Dominican Republic.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive finance strategy to support business growth and profitability
  • Manage and coordinate the company's financial function across regions, ensuring compliance with accounting, credit management, VAT, and tax regulations
  • Partner with the Chief Financial Officer and local CEOs to drive business performance and financial management
  • Supervise entity controlling/finance teams, managing and developing their skills through training, performance management, and career planning
  • Align forecasting results with entity CEOs and the AMC CFO, ensuring accurate budgeting and financial planning
  • Implement and ensure the correct application of accounting and financial procedures of the ArcelorMittal group within entities
  • Steer the risk management process, including internal and external control across all relevant entities
Requirements:
  • Fluent in English, advanced in Spanish and Italian (mandatory), French and Portuguese are a plus
  • Masters degree in Economics, Finance, or Auditing
  • 10+ years of experience in multi-national finance roles
  • Experience in M&A processes is a plus
  • Self-starter, innovative, results-oriented, strategic thinker
  • Advanced reporting and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization
  • Capability to work under pressure
  • Financial acumen
  • High level of organization
  • Previous experience in similar positions in the manufacturing sector will be considered a plus
  • Capable of self-navigating in a multinational environment and entrepreneurial organization
  • Able to build bridges between different departments and external parties is crucial
  • Able to work with virtual teams without direct reporting line is an absolute must
