We are currently seeking a dedicated Logistics Project Coordinator to join our international team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the efficient movement of cargo from the point of origin to its final destination;
- Assess and confirm the technical viability of proposed transportation methods;
- Analyze and implement action plans based on project conditions;
- Provide expert knowledge across logistics solutions and industry standards;
- Lead project meetings at various locations to discuss shipping operations and logistical strategies;
- Oversee and audit staff and subcontractors as necessary;
- Act as the primary contact for all cargo movements and communicate with clients;
- Prepare and manage commercial and technical proposals for clients;
- Ensure that approved shipping plans are in place for all transportation costs prior to execution;
- Collaborate on the development of project-specific operational procedures;
- Maintain and audit all project documentation;
- Identify and introduce new clients and business opportunities;
- Engage in negotiations regarding pricing and rates with service providers and subcontractors.
REQUIREMENTS:
- In-depth knowledge of the transport and freight forwarding sector;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within logistics and project cargo transportation;
- Higher education in fields such as economics, marketing, finance, management, logistics, or transport;
- Fluency in English and Spanish;
- Proven organizational and leadership skills;
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities;
- Strategic mindset, proactive approach, and accountability;
- Effective team collaboration skills.
