Currently, we are in search of a Logistics Project Coordinator in our Madrid office.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure a smooth transition of cargo from the contractual origin to the final destination;
  • Assess and confirm the technical appropriateness of the suggested transport methods;
  • Analyze, develop, and execute an action plan based on the outlined conditions;
  • Provide expert insights across logistics solutions and the industry;
  • Facilitate and lead project progress meetings at various locations to discuss upcoming shipping operations and logistical strategies;
  • Oversee and audit all personnel, subcontractors, and their interactions as necessary;
  • Act as the primary contact for all cargo movements and report to clients;
  • Prepare and manage Commercial and Technical proposals for both internal and external clients;
  • Ensure that an approved Shipping Plan is obtained for all transportation and freight costs prior to actual movements, in line with established criteria;
  • Collaborate to develop and finalize project-specific operational procedures;
  • Manage, control, and audit all project documentation;
  • Introduce new clients and business opportunities to AsstrA, when feasible;
  • Engage in pricing and rate negotiations with service providers, subcontractors, and carriers as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Extensive knowledge of the transport and freight forwarding sector;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the logistics industry and project cargo transportation;
  • Higher education in economy, marketing, finance, management, logistics, or transport;
  • Proficient in English and Spanish;
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and leadership capabilities;
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities;
  • Strategic mindset, proactive approach, and accountability;
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
