Project Manager Job Description

At Associated Traffic Ag, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team in Madrid. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of cargo from origin to destination, verifying the technical suitability of transport methods, and implementing action plans to ensure seamless logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cargo flow from origin to destination
  • Verify and evaluate transport methods
  • Implement action plans for logistics operations
  • Provide expert knowledge on logistics solutions
  • Attend and chair project progress meetings
  • Manage and oversee staff and subcontractors
  • Act as liaison for cargo movements and report to customers
  • Manage and prepare commercial and technical offers
  • Ensure project-approved shipping plans are obtained
  • Develop and agree project-specific working procedures
  • Review and implement action plans for shipping operations
  • Manage and control project job files
  • Introduce new customers and business opportunities
  • Negotiate with service providers and carriers

Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of transport and freight forwarding industry
  • Experience in project management in logistics industry
  • Higher education in economy, marketing, finance, management, logistics, or transport
  • Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish
  • Proven organizational skills and leadership qualities
  • Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinking, proactivity, and responsibility
  • Good team-working competences
